You’ll have to forgive me but, what is a “van”?

It's a... uh, think of it as a machine that can transport multiple people inside.

Ah. I was correct in my assumption that it’s a vehicle of some kind. Which does prompt me to ask, how did you come by that particular ability?

Mostly by necessity. But it took a little bit of extra training in order to do it comfortably.

[ obviously not as popular as a catbus, but... ]

I haven't tried to do it here yet. It's already weird fluidly going from one form to another. Adding another might be a little strenuous.

Were you not able to change before like you do now?

[monya]

Not easily. Let's just say in one world, I was forced to be like you saw me.

And in the other, I had flexibility.

I cannot pretend to understand, but you seem unbothered by this development, so I shall do the same. At the very least, now I understand how you are able to use a sword.

Well, even that part is a little awkward.

I am hardly one to judge based on appearances, my friend. If you truly wish to learn, I would be all too happy to teach you.

Of course! I definitely want to learn. The more I know, the more I can help my friends.

I've had a handful of students, and have taken yet another since I've been here. Don't think I'll go easy on you, my friend. I very much teach through practical experience.

You're going to find out real quick that I'm no slouch!

You should meet my former apprentice, he's an amazing leader in his own right and wouldn't be where he is now without me!

I have already said I would like to meet your friends, did I not? Mayhap it is past time I paid Olympia a visit.

Mayhaps it is! Akira is definitely around more than the others... I think they spend their time working for the city guard or training.

Trying to regain our strength has been kind of difficult.
