Quite so. The giant rock that looks like a skull, for one. It is absolutely haunted.

For some, but I assume some others might not be so easily deterred simply by an object's shape.

Oh, yes. The place is filthy with paintings, all of them gruesome. I shall spare you descriptions of those, as well.

[ While he appreciates his kindness in sparing him the details of horrific things, he also can't help but feel curious. But then he knows he'd probably regret being too curious. ]

How could such a thing be suffered to exist?

[ No one's tried to take the paintings down or anything??? ]

[ The paintings are on the inside of the skull formation itself. A part of the landscape, as it were. ]

I imagine the locals would not take kindly were we to start destroying things willy-nilly, no matter how sinister.

[ Man, good point. And he assumes the locals probably keep it because it's a part of their history or something?? Surely they must have some reason. Still, Alphinaud wishes it wasn't there!! ]
